It is not what happens to you that counts. It is how you react to what happens to you, especially when you have unexpected problems of any kind. We hope, these strategies you can use to keep yourself thinking and acting positively and creatively. Here are four things you can do to assure that your attitude is the very best it can be, under all circumstances.
First, whatever challenges you face, focus on the future rather than on the past. Instead of worrying about who did what and who is to blame, focus on where you want to be and what you want to do. Get a clear mental image of your ideal successful future, and then take whatever action you can to begin moving in that direction. Get your mind, your thoughts, and your mental images on the future.
Second, whenever you’re faced with a difficulty, focus on the solution rather than on the problem. Think and talk about the ideal solution to the obstacle or setback, rather than wasting time rehashing and reflecting on the problem. Solutions are inherently positive, whereas problems are inherently negative. The instant that you begin thinking in terms of solutions, you become a positive and constructive human being.
Third, assume that something good is hidden within each difficulty or challenge. It is an major proponent of positive thinking. “Whenever God wants to give us a gift, he wraps it up in a problem.” The bigger the gift you have coming, the bigger the problem you will receive. But the wonderful thing is that if you look for the gift, you will always find it.
Fourth, assume that whatever situation you are facing at the moment is exactly the right situation you need to ultimately be successful. This situation has been sent to you to help you learn something, to help you become better, to help you expand and grow.
A Positive Mental Attitude is indispensable to your success. You can be as positive as you want to be if you will simply think about the future, focus on the solution and look for the good. If you do what other successful people do, if you use your mind to exert mental control over the situation, you will be positive and cheerful most of the time. And you will reap the benefits enjoyed by all successful people.
Finally, Make a habit of looking for the answers to your questions, the solutions to your problems. Seek for the valuable lesson in every adversity. Make a list of every idea or insight you can gain from every setback or difficulty. Think on paper. Take some time to write out every detail of the problem, and then take the most logical next step to solve it. We hope these pointers may help you to be a super attitude person.

SUPER ATTITUDE
Keep cool in xams
It’s that time of year again when exams are just a few weeks away and everyone is battling to look fresh, stay alert and on top of things. You have classes to attend and hours of studying afterwards await you. So how do you fight that fatigue and look good at the same time? Here are some easy steps which will help you.
Don’t remain in one position for too long. When you sit down to study, don’t keep working while sitting in the same position. This will drain you of your energy. Get up every one hour if only to walk around the room. If you are working on a computer, look around you to give your eyes a break.
Have a glass of water and then start working again. Water is essential and you should have at least six to eight glasses a day. Liquid intake is necessary if you want to keep your skin looking young and vibrant. Intense work without liquids makes the skin look sallow.
Never carry your classroom stress back with you. Concentrate on the subject syllabus. Don’t worry about how you’re going to cope with all that study material. Make a schedule for yourself and follow it through.
Did you know that even a 10-minute nap has the power to refresh you? Cushion your head on your arms, close your eyes and stretch your legs. You can do this after every hour or so while you are sitting at your study table.
At night, make sure you get at least six hours of sound sleep. A glass of hot milk taken at bedtime may help. A bath before going to bed is a good way of winding down from the stress of the day. Avoid watching television before bedtime. Listen to your favourite light music and do not to take unnecessary medicines like sleeping pills.
For a constant flow of energy, your body needs a proper diet. Try to avoid foods rich in oil. Don’t live off junk food. Fruits and green vegetables are essential if you want to rev up those concentration levels.
Take some time off to exercise. Walk, dance or go for a run. It all counts. Keep your study times short and frequent Study for short bursts of no longer than two hours and then take a break. Never force yourself to study when you don’t want to. Take a breather and come back to the subject at hand
FLEXIBLE READER
To become a flexible reader, you need to know how to selectand use a reading style that is consistent with your purpose for reading. There are three important reading styles you should learn to use. Each has its own purpose. Knowing when and how to use these three reading styles will make you a flexible reader. Read to learn about the three reading styles used by flexible readers.
Study Reading is the reading style used by flexible readers when their purpose is to read difficult material at a high level of comprehension. When using the Study Reading style, you should read at a rate that is slower than your normal reading rate. Further, as you read you must challenge yourself to understand the material. Study Reading will often require you to read material more than once to achieve a high level of comprehension. Sometimes, reading the material aloud will also help you improve your comprehension.
Skimming is the reading style used by flexible readers when their purpose is to quickly obtain a general idea about the reading material. The Skimming style is most useful when you have to read a large amount of material in a short amount of time. When using the Skimming style, you should identify the main ideas in each paragraph and ignore the details in supportive sentences. Because you are only looking for the main idea in each paragraph you read, a lower level of comprehension is to be expected than when using the Study Reading style.
Scanning is the reading style used by flexible readers when their purpose is to quickly locate a specific piece of information within reading material. The piece of information to be located may be contained in a list of names, words, numbers, short statements, and sometimes even in a paragraph. Since you know exactly what you are looking for, move your eyes quickly over the reading material until you locate the specific piece of information you need to find.
Before you begin your next reading assignment, identify your purpose for reading. Decide if you are reading for a high level of comprehension, trying to get a general idea about what you are reading, or looking for specific information. Then use the reading style that is appropriate for your reading purpose.
We certainly hope the above information will help you in developing the skills how to become a flexible reader.

Success Is A Good Habit
Ever wondered why some people just seem to have it all together and the rest of us are running around trying to keep it all together? Success is not an accident – success is a good habit. We hope these smart habits can work wonders in your life.
Get prepared: Make like a boy scout, and get prepared. Choose one thing that tends to jump out at you unexpectedly, and make a plan to prepare for it. Once that’s in place, choose another one. Prepare for getting more education and a better job, prepare for starting your own business.
Develop Routines: You already have routines, but are they helping you or hurting you? Staying up late and dragging around all the next day is a routine that’s contaminating not only your physical health but your mental and emotional health as well. Having a routine to work on clutter control 15 minutes a day contributes to your desire for a clean uncluttered life.
Just Say No: Say No to chocolate if you’re trying to lose weight. Say No to mindless TV if you want to get a degree or to achieve a goal. Say No to doing other people’s work. When you can’t say No to people and things, you end up feeling frustrated and resentful. When you say YES to what’s important to you, then you feel fulfilled and energetic and in control.
Stop striving for perfection: That’s just an excuse to procrastinate, and you know it. Filing your personal papers doesn’t have to be in color coded, typed folders. A simple system that you understand and can actually use is what’s important. Strive for progress, not perfection.
Clean up your mind diet: It’s a fact that whatever you spend your time focusing on is what you’ll have lots of in your life. Dwelling on the problem doesn’t take you closer to the solution. If you put junk into your mind all day, you’ll be sick.
Practice small steps: Make your life easier by learning to break all goals down into small steps. The idea is that you are moving forward, slowly and steadily. Use the analogy of a skyscraper. It was built brick by brick, one at a time. So are your goals. Concentrate on what you can do, like reading of two pages of everyday You’ll be surprised at how fast it will be finished.
Consistency: Perhaps the most important of all the habits is to be consistent in whatever you do. Being consistent is what makes or breaks great people and great lives. Anyone who is organized works on it consistently, not “whenever”. Anyone who is in good physical shape, works on it consistently, not hit-or-miss. It’s more about making a new habit, than it is the intensity of it at the beginning. Once the habit is instilled, it will be much easier to raise the intensity.
ENGINNERS VS DOCTORS
Engineers and 7 Doctors are going from PUNE to Mumbai. So both groups gather at Pune Station.
Both groups are desperately trying to prove their superiority.

When TC arrives,
All 7 Engineers get in one toilet so when TC knocks, one hand come out with the ticket and the TC goes
Away....
NOW on return Journey All of them don't get a direct Train to PUNE. So they all decide to take a Passenger till Lonavala, from there they can easily get a LOCAL to PUNE
SCENE 2 (MUMBAI - LONAVALA):
----------------------------------------------------------------------------- -----------
Doctors decided, "this time we will prove that we too are equal"....All 7 Doctors take 1 Ticket Engineers don't buy any ticket at all!!!!!..

ALL DOCTORS IN ONE TOILET.ALL ENGINEERS IN THE OPPOSITE.
One engineer gets out and knocks the door of Doctors toilet, One hand comes with the tickets, he takes the

Doctors are still searching for toilet in the LOCAL train...........
Conclusion: Technically intelligent people are geniuses, don't mess with Engineers.
PERSONAL HYGIENE
One of the most effective ways we have to protect ourselves from ill effects of health risk is good personal hygiene. Personal hygiene is the first step to good grooming and good health. Elementary cleanliness is common knowledge. Neglect causes problems that you may not even be aware of.
Many people with bad breath are blissfully unaware of it. Some problems may not be your fault at all, but improving standards of hygiene will control these conditions.
Poor oral hygiene and infection of gums often results in a bad odour emanating from the mouth. This is called halitosis. Proper brushing of the teeth and oral care can get rid of bad breath. There can be other reasons for bad breath. Cold, sinuses, throat infection or tonsils can cause bad breath. It means being careful not to cough or sneeze without any protection.
Body odour: The body has nearly two and half million sweat glands. These glands produce three quarts to one pint of sweat in a day. In tropical countries, naturally, more sweat is produced. The perspiration level increases with an increase in physical exertion.
Fresh perspiration, when allowed to evaporate does not cause body odour. An offensive smell is caused when bacteria that are present on the skin get to work on the sweat and decompose it. Diet influences the odour too.
Two baths a day, with liberal lathering and change of clothes in close contact with the body should take care of the problem. Talcum powder or deodorants or antiperspirants can be used. Most skin deodorants contain an antiperspirant, such as aluminum chloride, which reduces sweating by forming a hydroxide gel in the sweat ducts. But sweat suppressed in one area, comes out in another.
The world around us swarms with microorganisms. Some bacteria are found on our bodies. Where food is eaten and prepared with bare hands extra attention has to be paid to the cleanliness of hands. Besides, a permanent layer of dust or grime reduces the sensitivity of the hands.
Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water before and after every meal and after visiting the toilet. Soaping and rinsing should cover the areas between fingers, nails and back of the hand. Hands should be dried with a clean towel after wash.
Things to remember, use gloves as protection while handling waste items otherwise you might be at risk of catching an infection. Good personal hygiene is one of the most effective ways to protect others and us from many illnesses.
FACTS ON INDIA
As Indians, we can be good citizens of our country only by first being proud of our country. Only when we develop a sense of pride, we will work towards the welfare of the society and the development of the land.
Some of you may ask, ‘what is it that we have to be proud of? What is so special about this land?’ If one were to answer this question completely, even a thousand pages would not be sufficient.
But here are some facts that will not only surprise you, but will also give you a glimpse of the greatness of our motherland, its culture, its wisdom and its phenomenal achievements in all fields;
1. India never invaded any country in her last 10000 years of history.
2. India invented the Number System. Zero was invented by Aryabhatta.
3. The World's first university was established in Takshila in 700BC. More than 10,500 students from all over the world studies more than 60 subjects. The University of Nalanda built in the 4th century BC was one of the greatest achievements of ancient India in the field of education.
4. Sanskrit is the mother of all the European languages. Sanskrit is the most suitable language for computer software – a report in Forbes magazine, July 1987.
5. Ayurveda is the earliest school of medicine known to humans.
6. Charaka, the father of medicine consolidated Ayurveda 2500 years’ ago. Today Ayurveda is fast regaining its rightful place in our civilization.
7. Although modern images of India often show poverty and lack of development, India was the richest country on earth until the time of British invasion in the early 17th Century.
8. The art of Navigation was born in the river Sindh 6000 years ago. The very word Navigation is derived from the Sanskrit word NAVGATIH. The word navy is also derived from Sanskrit 'Nou'.
9. Bhaskaracharya calculated the time taken by the earth to orbit the sun centuries before the astronomer Smart. Time taken by earth to orbit the sun: (5th century) 365.258756484 days.
10. The value of "pi" was first calculated by Budhayana, who explained the concept of what is known as the Pythagorean theorem. He discovered this in the 6th century long before the European mathematicians.
And this, my dear friends is barely the tip of the iceberg. Be proud to be Indian.
DISADVANTAGE OF PAMPERING
To overindulge in favours where children are involved leads to pampered brats. This causes inconvenience to parents who after years of over pampering face facts.
When a child behaves in an impudent manner, the cause is deeper than the situations that the parents have to handle. The child ignores and defies all rules set by his parents. The child does not behave properly and is often disobedient. It is far convenient to call such a child naughty. Impatience in dealing with children leads to over pampering them. It is when adults want to wriggle out of counselling session that they hurriedly ‘bribe’ the child with sweetmeats and gifts.
That’s when the disadvantages of over pampering strike. Children need nurturing. For that, parents need to be patient, especially regarding childlike behaviour and growing up blues. Parents may give choices to help children make better decisions. The child should have a positive attitude towards life and should be ready to take up future challenges.
Nuclear families are becoming increasingly popular with time. While both parents are earning members in the family and help the financial status of a family, children are seen to be less adaptable and need counselling. Parents are unable to communicate with their own kith and kin and to compensate, fill the toy room with new arrivals from the market. Here, the family elders can play a very important role in a child’s life. They can help the child to express emotions and deal with these kinds of situations.
Teaching a child that actions have consequences is one of the most important lessons a parent or teacher can convey. Understanding the consequences that their own actions will have for themselves and others is the first step; children need to take in order to learn to take responsibility for their own actions, to think before they act, and to respect authority. Therefore, as a form of discipline, the removal of privileges should not be haphazard and aimed simply at punishing a child. Instead the privileges removed should be logically related to the misbehavior and designed to teach the lesson that actions have consequences.
Many parents, especially those who didn’t have many luxuries when growing up, want their children to enjoy the wealth that they worked so hard. If you give your child everything he wants on demand, he will grow up believing the world owes him a living, and will find it hard to cope when realizes it doesn’t.
When children are born, they are like blank slates on which their parents’ help to script the beginnings of the stories of their lives. Every child grows up and ultimately charts his own destiny, but his parents lay the foundation. And everybody knows the consequences of building on a weak foundation. Disciplining children is one way of setting them on the right path and equipping them to wing it on their own.
Years of perseverance from parents and elders will ensure children, who can be happy individuals when they grown up.
Really good-----Whats ur choice ...cup or water?????
A group of working adults got together to visit their University lecturer. The lecturer was happy to see them. Conversation soon turned into complaints about stress in work and life.
The Lecturer just smiled and went to the kitchen to get an assortment of cups - some porcelain, some in plastic, some in glass, some plain looking and some looked rather expensive and exquisite.
The Lecturer offered his former students the cups to get drinks for themselves.
When all the students had a cup in hand with water, the Lecturer spoke: "If you noticed, all the nice looking, expensive cups were taken up, leaving behind the plain and cheap ones. While it is normal that you only want the best for yourselves, that is the source of your problems and stress. What all you wanted was water, not the cup, but we unconsciously went for the better cups."
"Just like in life, if Life is Water, then the jobs, money and position in society are the cups. They are just tools to hold/maintain Life, but the quality of Life doesn't change."
"If we only concentrate on the cup, we won't have time to enjoy/taste the water in it."
- Mother Teresa
